Robert W. "Bobby" Stevenson II, 63, of Polk, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 surrounded by family and loving friends after an extended illness.

Bobby was born August 14, 1948, in Warren, Pa. the son of the late Robert and Florence Wolstencroft Stevenson.

Bobby, as he was affectionately known by friends and family, had been a lifelong resident at Polk Center.  He was a very special person who brought much love and joy to those who knew him.  As a resident of Polk Center, he had many special friends and caregivers who were deeply touched by having known him.  Bobby will be lovingly remembered for his love of music and the outdoors, his perseverance, and his resiliency as he fought through many physical issues.

He is survived by a brother, David Stevenson and his wife Shannon; a sister, Barbara Cook and her husband Richard, Jr.; two nieces Katie Thayer and Heidi Swanson, both of Warren; a nephew Nicholas Swanson and his wife Jamie, Denver, CO.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Swanson and by a brother, Jackie Stevenson.

A private family service will be held at the Peterson – Blick Funeral Home, Inc. Polk Center will be holding a special memorial service at a later date.  Donations may be made to Bollinger Enterprises, 44 North State Street, Warren, PA 16365 of the Special Olympics ,PO Box 752, Warren, PA 16365.

Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park.
