Robert William Richards, 69, of Warren, PA, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at his residence. Bob was born July 29, 1954, in Reading, PA, the son of the late R. William and Kay V. Spies Richards Jr. He served in the PA National Guard and was employed as a machinist in the Roughing department at the National Forge from which he retired. Bob attended church at Calvary Baptist, was an Eagle Scout, and was a member of the Eagles Club, the American Legion, and the VFW. He was also a member of the Kingsmen Motorcycle Club and was referred to as "PA Bob." Bob is survived by his children, Robert "Dutch" Richards and fiancé Nikki, and Jessica Richards, both of Warren; three grandchildren, Robert W. Richards III, Sandra Richards, and Rachel Richards; sister, Janet Hutley and husband Robert of Lander, PA; brothers, Michael Richards and wife Cindy of Sugar Grove, PA, David Richards of Irvine, PA, and Tim Richards and wife Mirja of Kane, PA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Richards; sister-in-law, Lisa Richards. A Celebration of Life service is being planned and will be held at a later date.
