Robert Lloyd "Bob" Reitz, age 70, of Clarendon, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA, following a recent illness.

Bob was born June 11, 1952, in Dubois, PA, the son of the late Bobby and Maxine Snell Reitz. Following high School, Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1973 – 1977. He was employed at Betts Industries for thirty-five years, from which he retired. He was an avid hunter , fisherman, and golfer.

On September 7, 1974, he married the love of his life, Betty Jane Sturdavent Reitz, who passed away on November 27, 2021. Following her passing, his heart was broken and never recovered from losing her.

Bob is survived by his girls, Amy Elmquist and her husband Patrick of Ludlow, PA, and Amber Reitz and her fiancé David Downey of Clarendon, PA; three sisters, Connie Thomas, Judy Sanchez, and Vera James; four brothers, Paul Reitz, Steve Reitz, John Reitz, and Bob Bertch; five grandchildren Jeremiah and Harry Lyon, and Andrea, Jasmine, and Danielle Brown; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Robert Reitz Jr.; two brothers, Ralph Reitz and Butch Bertch; and a great-grandson Dominic Fisher.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Tuesday, February 21, from 5 to 7 pm, and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 22 at 1:00 pm.

Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery.
