Robert P. North, 63, of Russell, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.  Robert was born August 23, 1952, in Jamestown, NY. He was the son of the late Millard and Dorothy (Zimmerman) North.

Bob was the owner of North Auto Crushers.  He enjoyed spending winters at the villages, and enjoyed golfing and fishing.  He was a member of the Frewsburg Legion, Carroll Rod & Gun Club and spent his summers at the Onoville Marina.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hurd Arnold North, whom he married July 30, 2005; four daughters, Terri Swanson, and husband, John, Warren, PA, Rhonda Lookenhouse, and husband, Randy, Russell, PA, Angela Brown, Warren, PA, and Amanda Hummel, and husband, Travis, Russell, PA; his dear friend and the son he never had, Butch Southwell (Cathy); and his God-daughter, Sarah Southwell; three grandchildren, Ashley Lookenhouse, Jacob and Matigan Gruber; three siblings, Gary North, and wife, Elaine, Jane Burlingame, and husband, Dick, and William North, all of Russell.  He is also survived by his first wife, Ida North, Warren, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Russell Volunteer Fire Department, 66 Perrigo Ln, Russell, PA, on Sunday, October 11, from 2 to 7 p.m.  The funeral will be held at the Russell Volunteer Fire Department at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 12, with Rev. Todd Venman, pastor, Wiltsie Community Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
