Robert James Knox, 90, of Warren, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020. Robert was born on June 18, 1930, in Niagara Falls, NY, to the late Clifford and Jane (Daveys) Knox. Robert served in the U.S. Navy in Korea. Upon graduating from Electrician School, he went on to work at Ferguson Electric, in Niagara Falls. Robert was a member of the Nazarene Church, a life member of I.B.E.W., loved fishing and loved boating. He was an avid beekeeper and enjoyed woodworking. He enjoyed spending time with family and was a very much loved "Papa". He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Timothy Knox, of Florida, Stephen (Ann) Knox, of Virginia, and Ann (EJ) Meyers, of Warren; his siblings, Ronald (Beth) Knox, of Sanborn, NY and Douglas (Pat) Knox, of Grand Island, NY; three grandchildren, Ellwood J. Meyers III, Michaela Ordiway, and Kaylee Knox; and a great granddaughter, Eden Ordiway. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Kay M. (Shephard) Knox, on August 17, 2017; and his sister, Joyce Confer. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 am on August 22, 2020 at the Warren First Church of the Nazarene, 907 Pennsylvania Ave E, Warren, PA 16365, a funeral service will follow at 11am, with Rev. J. Maier, pastor, officiating. All state COVID guidelines will be observed. In lieu of flowers, family has requested memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave. Warren, PA 16365.
