Robert Leroy "Spanky" Ishman, 84, of Youngsville, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the Titusville Area Hospital. Bob was born March 6, 1937, in Clarington, PA, the son of the late Howard and Doris Bean Ishman. He served in the National Guard from 1957-1960. Bob the owned and operated the Wolfs Head service station in Youngsville, PA, and the later worked for Northland Wood Products in Youngsville and Inter Royal Deluxe Metal in Warren. Bob was a founding member of the Brokenstraw Fish and Game Club and the Youngsville American Legion. He was an avid trap shooter and he also loved to hunt and fish. Bob loved his family and especially loved hi grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by three children, Quinton Ishman and his wife Kathy of Erie, PA, Scott Ishman and his wife Jolean of Pittsfield; and Tawnya Midcap and her husband Gene of Titusville, PA; eight grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and his sister, Helen Corley; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by a son, Richard Ishman in 2008; one sister, Peggy Patch, and four brothers, Rusty, John Edward, Willis, and Richard Ishman. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in the Kiffer Hill Cemetery, Endeavor, PA.
