Rita M. Christensen, 84, of Clarendon, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Rouse Home. Rita was born June 14, 1933, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Floyd L. and Henrietta De Forest Pickard. She is survived by two sons, Randall L. Christensen, and wife, Jody, and Jay W. Christensen, and wife, Beth; four grandchildren, James Randall Christensen, Jessica Lynn Caldwell, and husband, Micah, Katie Nichole Davis, and husband, Brian, and Nathaniel Jay Christensen; and one great-granddaughter, Jayelyn Davis. In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death on September 12, 1989, by her husband, Wesley L. Christensen, whom she married June 7, 1952; and her sister, Vera Smith, and her companion, Ray Harriger. In accordance with Rita's wishes, public services will not be observed. A private burial service will be held at Warren County Memorial Park.
