Obituary

Richard Michael Dombeck, 69, of Warren, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, following an extended illness.

Rick was born November 1, 1956, in Warren. He was a true outdoorsman who found some of his greatest enjoyment simply being outside. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping, and was happiest when he could spend time enjoying the outdoors. He was also an avid NASCAR fan, faithfully following Dale Earnhardt Sr., Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Ryan Blaney. Rick loved rock music, a good steak, and his camouflage.

When he wasn't enjoying the outdoors, Rick could often be found relaxing at home watching M*A*S*H, Hogan's Heroes, or one of his favorite old western movies.

Rick had many jobs including Northern Foam, PennMetal, and spent time working in the oil fields, and most recently, retired from Segal and Sons in Warren after many years of employment.

He was a good man whose greatest wish was to know his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sister, Debra L. Bargerstock, with whom he shared her home; his aunt and uncle, Alberta (Calvin) Nichols of Lakeland, Florida; his niece, Jessica (Dave) Abbey of Warren; his nephew, Grover (Stephanie) Bargerstock of Mt. Jewett; four great-nephews and two great-nieces; his children and four grandchildren; and many cousins and extended family members.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Catherine and Theodore James Dombeck; his brother, James Dombeck; and his brother-in-law, Gary Bargerstock.

Rick will be remembered by those who knew him for his love of the outdoors, his passion for NASCAR, his appreciation for rock music and old television and movies, and the simple things he enjoyed most in life.
