Richard Peterson, 59, of Warren, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep, on January 24, 2019, at his residence. Richard was born on January 14, 1960, to the late Glenn and Magdoline (Knaus) Peterson. Richard liked going to Pleasant Community Church, watching movies and listening to music. He also enjoyed going to the community soup kitchens, walking and biking. He is survived by his siblings, Joseph Peterson, of San Angelo, TX, Jeff (Ruth) Peterson, of Warren, Frank Peterson, of Russell, and Rebecca Peterson, of Clarendon; his nieces and nephews, Zachary, Amanda, Alexander, and Victoria Peterson; his great nieces and nephews, Trevor Peterson and Llia and Thaddeus Neubauer; and his Aunt Virginia and Uncle Randall, of Warren. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his infant brother; his paternal and maternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles. Friends will be received from 12-1 pm on Monday, January 28, 2018, at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365. A funeral service will follow at 1pm, with Rev. Aaron Reinard, pastor, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Special Olympics, 2610 Clyde Ave # B, State College, PA 16801. Internment will be at Pinegrove Cemetery in Russell.
