Richard Sherman Hartley, 76, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Warren Manor. Richard was born October 2, 1948, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Ronald B. and Gladys E. (Munson) Hartley. Richard graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army from June 1968 to June 1974 in Vietnam and Germany. Richard was employed at Blair Corporation, Mahan Motors, and Crescent Tool. He was an excellent mechanic. Richard is survived by brother, Keith Hartley and wife Judy of Russell, PA; dear friends, Bobbie Jo Rafalski, Dawn Williams, Herb Anderson, and Tracy Shaffer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Ward Knopf, and Robert Knopf; and his best friend and companion, JoAnn Anderson.
