Rev. H. Dale Reitz,  passed away on Sunday morning, July 13, 2014, at Warren General Hospital after a brief stay under Hospice Care.  He was born July 21, 1933 in Heathville, PA.  He was the son of the late Walter and Elva (Myers) Reitz.
He served 42 years with the Western PA Conference of the United Methodist Church in various locations.  He retired in 2002 in the Warren area.  He was a long-time member of the Order of St. Luke.  He also served on both Jefferson and Warren County Housing Authority Board of Directors.
He enjoyed ceramics, playing the organ and piano.  After retiring he enjoyed gardening, bird watching and jigsaw puzzles.
He is survived by his wife Donna (Seigworth) Reitz, who he married on November 26, 1960, two daughters - Tammy Emberg (husband Scott) of Warren, Lisa Swartz (husband John) of Tidioute, five grandchildren – Tricia Wilt (husband Michael) of Bradford, Joseph Hollern (wife Christina) of Sheffield, Joshua Holleran of Pittsburgh, Jessica Lester of Warren, and Carly Nester (husband Nash) of Grand Valley.  He is also survived by one sister – Irene Lauer of Lucinda, PA one brother – Beryl Reitz of Venus, PA, and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Family and friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Avenue E., Warren, PA on Tuesday July 15, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Friends will be received on  Wednesday, July 16, from 10 to 11 am at which a funeral service will be held at the Covenant United Methodist Church, 1624 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, PA on Wednesday July 16, 3024 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Seth McClymonds, officiating.
