Randy "R.D." G. Danielson, 66, of Sheffield, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. Randy was born September 6, 1957, in Warren, the son of the late Carl and Glenna (Fitch) Danielson. He was a 1975 graduate of Sheffield High School. He was employed for over 45 years at Blair Corporation, and then at Northwest from 2005 until present. Randy enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hiking, walking his dog, music, traveling to the beach, and going to airshows. Randy is survived by his two daughters, Amber Brecht and husband Tim of Russell, and Mandi Maher and husband Chris of Busti, NY; grandchildren, Riley Monda, Trinity and Eivin Maher; brother, Denny Danielson and wife Nancy of Grove City, PA; nephews, Scott (Daisy) Danielson, Eric (Susan) Danielson, Brian (Melissa) Danielson, and Chris (Janelle) Danielson; cousins; longtime companion, Pamela Dickey and her children, Daniel Dickey of Sheffield, and Jacob Dickey and wife Jessica of Youngsville and their child Jayce; and canine companion, Sweet Pea. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Danielson; niece, Beth Danielson; and aunts and uncles. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm and for one hour prior to a funeral that will be held there on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 11:00am, with Reverend Jon Swart, Global Methodist minister, officiating.
