Ralph T. "Bucko" Loree, 91, of Warren, passed away on Thursday April 26, 2018, at the Warren General Hospital. Ralph was born on June 30, 1926, in Warren, PA, the son of the late Ralph R. and Mary (Thompsen) Loree. A lifelong area resident, Ralph attended Warren High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was a Navy Gunner on Merchant Marine Ships during WWII, serving in both the European and Pacific Theatre. Bucko worked as a lineman for 37 years with Penelec, from which he retired in 1985. Ralph was an accomplished Musky fisherman, avid deer hunter, and outdoorsman. He enjoyed his family, many friends, and especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Joan Rote Thomas Loree whom he married in 1984; a sister, Lois Ann Hoffman, two sons, Tom Loree and wife Stacy; of Warren, and Jim Loree, and wife Brenda of Warren: two daughters, Amy Bathhurst, and husband Tim of Philadelphia, and Lilly Suppa, and husband Mike, also of Warren; seven grandchildren; Jason, Jake, Rachel, David, Sam, Evan and Griffin; three great-grandchildren; Westyn, Ava, and Ryker; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Rachel Bloomquist Loree; and an infant grandson Zachary. Friends will be received on Saturday April 28, at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna Ave., E., Warren, from 1 to 3 pm, at which time a funeral service will be held there at 3pm., with Rev. Tim Olsen, officiating. Burial will be in the Weiler Cemetery.
