Phoebe Inez Bachkor, age 99, formerly of the Warren Commons,  passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Rouse Home.

Phoebe was born April 5, 1914 in Warren, PA,  the daughter of the late Alvey J. and Goldie M. Bright Chapel.  She was employed a the New Process Company for twenty three years, from which she retired.  She enjoyed baking, sewing, and homemaking. Phoebe was also, and foremost,  a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She dearly loved family, friends, and especially her grandchildren

Phoebe is survived by two children, her daughter Sharon Jones and her husband Carlton, Warren, PA, and her son, Dennis Peterson and his wife Linda, Youngsville, PA; two sisters, Florence Stewart and Marjorie Lindsey; two brothers, James Chapel and Glenn Chapel; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great- grandchild,  and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer E. Peterson; her second husband, Joseph F. Bachkor; four sisters, Evelyn Lindell, Betty Mickle, Genevieve Lester, and Geraldine Vanord; and three brothers, Charles Chapel, Robert Chapel, and Richard Chapel.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, PA, 16365, on Thursday, February 13, 2014, from 11am until 12 pm.  A funeral service will be held there at 12:00 noon, with Rev. Marcus Briggs, chaplain, officiating.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Warren.
