Pearl L. (Nelson) Lydon, 83, formerly of Irvine and Sheffield, PA, passed away on August 15, 2019, at the Soldiers and Sailors Home in Erie, PA. Pearl was born on March 22, 1936, daughter of the late Joseph L. and Mildred E. Bish-Troutman. Pearl was employed at Blair and owned the Wildwood Inn. She enjoyed baking, cooking, motorcycle rides and was a member of the Women's Club. Most of all, Pearl loved her family and especially adored her grandchildren. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Pearl is survived by her children, William L. (Wanda) Nelson, of Sheffield, PA, Charles E. Nelson, of Warren and Sharon R. (William) Nelson-Lucia, of Ludlow, PA; her brother, Ronald (Gloria) Troutman, of Honor, MI; her sister-in-law, Audrey Troutman, of Mt. Jewett, PA; 6 grandchildren, Sally (Jay) Morgan, of New Castle, PA, Eugene W. (Amanda) Lucia, of Reno, PA, Douglas W. (Olivia) Nelson Frewsburg, NY, Chelsea (Mike) Zaffino, of Warren, Nicolas (Jessica) Lucia, of Ludlow, PA, and Rose-Mary Lucia and her fiancé, Noah, of Kane, PA ; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pearl is preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer W. Nelson Jr., "Bud"; her second husband, Thomas Lydon; her brother, Raymond Troutman; and her granddaughter, Kristen Nelson. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Sheffield Playground, P.O. Box 784 Sheffield, PA 16347.
