Paul L. Waterman Jr., 77, left in the arms of our lord at 1:24 am, on November 7, 2018 as a result of complications related to Parkinson's disease. He was born on March 31, 1941 to the late Paul L. Waterman Sr. and Clara (Wilson) Waterman, in Auburn, NY. He is survived by his current wife of 31 years, Maxine (Wade) Waterman; his first wife, Susan (Olson) Waterman; five sons, Mark (Shelley) Waterman, of Erie, PA, Charles (Joan) Waterman, of Randolph, NY, Gregory (Jennifer) Waterman, of Warren, Tim (Sharon) Wade, of Warren, and Paul L. Waterman III, of Lake City, FL; nine granddaughters, Emily, Liz, Chelsie, Abby, Rachell, Renee and Miranda Waterman, Kaitlyn Wade and Amber (Tyler) Tucker, of Ocala, FL; his brother Phil (Marcia) Waterman, of Red Creek, NY; his sister, Mary (Les) Mack of Selma, Alabama; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother Gary (Betsy) and his second wife Sandra (Helton) Waterman. Paul was a proud member of the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in February of 1965. He worked at Warren State Hospital as a nurse and nurse supervisor for 25 years, retiring in 1996 to Florida, and returning to PA in 2006. While in Florida, he raised quarter horses and worked on his friend's farm in Ocala, Florida. Paul was a staunch Buffalo Bills fan (no matter what their record). His most favorite pastime was any and all family gatherings and visits. He enjoyed country music, playing his guitar, hiking, hunting deer, yard work and keeping the truck clean and polished. Always willing to lend a helping hand or give a hug, his kindness, caring and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
