Obituary

Paul L. Brink, 82, of Clarendon Heights, passed away May 8, 2021, at the John and Oprah Blair Hospice House. Paul was born November 24, 1938 to the late Harold and Eldora Brink in Warren, Pa. He was a 1956 graduate of Warren Area High School, and attended Bryant and Stratton Business School in Buffalo, N.Y. He served in the Army National Guard. Paul worked at Sylvania, National Forge, and United Refinery, from which he retired. He owned Brinks Service Company and was a partner in Brinks Tour and Charters with his son. He was a past State President of United Commercial Travelers, and a past member of The Odd Fellows and Masonic Lodge. He attended Stoneham United Methodist Church. Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gloria J. Shaffer Brink; a son, Stephen Brink, of Clarendon; a daughter Jennifer Shaffer, of Clarendon Heights, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his brothers, James, Richard and Alan Brink; a sister Mary Quiggle, and a grandson, Alex Werick in 2012. Services will be held and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren, One Main Ave, Warren, Pa., 16365.
