Patricia Diane Wholeben, 74, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 surrounded by her family at her residence following a lengthy illness. Pat was born August 31, 1946, in James City, PA, the daughter of the late John and Agnes Punk Johnson. She was a 1964 graduate of Warren Area High School and was a Registered Nurse at the Warren General Hospital for more than twenty years. She also ran the family businesses, DEW Trucking and DEW Services. Pat was a member of the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, where she was quite active prior to her illness. Pat and her husband enjoyed many winters in Florida. She loved to travel, having been to Thailand, Mexico, London, and several other destinations. She enjoyed being a part of the crafter's club, enjoying sewing and painting. She especially enjoyed her home, her family, and her grandchildren. Pat is survived by her husband, David E Wholeben, whom she married on July 17, 1965; four children, Jim Wholeben of Clarendon, Kathleen Davidson and husband Roger, of Clarendon, Lori Anderson and husband Dan, of Cherry Grove, and Melissa Mahaney of Clarendon; a sister, Frances Korchak and husband Steve, of Corsica, PA; two brothers, Kenneth Johnson and wife Barb, of Clarendon, and Bob Johnson and wife Sue Ellen, of NC; ten grandchildren, Elyssa, Ian and wife Courtney, Ashley, and Eliza Davidson, Zachary, Jeremiah, and Gabby Anderson, Ryleigh Wholeben, and Cayden and Corey Mahaney; three great- grandchildren, Griffen and Kinley Davidson, and Danielle Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by an infant brother. Friends and family will be received at the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 7222 US 6, Sheffield, PA. on Tuesday, September 15, from 10 am until 12 noon, at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held, with Fr. Stephen Schreiber, Pastor, officiating. Pallbearers for burial in the Warren County Memorial Park are Jim Wholeben, Ian Davidson, Ryleigh Wholeben, Elyssa Davidson, Tom Yarzabek, and Roger Davidson. Serving as honorary bearer are Ashley and Eliza Davidson.
