Patricia W. Redfield, 80, of 113 Dartmouth St., died at 10:05 a.m. at her residence following a brief illness,  on Monday, December 23, 2002.

Mrs. Redfield was born October 1, 1922, in Oil City, PA., the daughter of the late John P. and Agnes Schupp Welsh. Mrs. Redfield was a member of Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, its Alter Rosary Society, and volunteered in the kitchen. She delivered meals on wheels, and was a member of the Circle Eight Square Dance Club, and enjoyed playing Bocce Ball. Mrs. Redfield was employed as a nurses aid at Warren General Hospital for 20 years.

She is survived by her husband Wesley G. Redfield whom she married May 29, 1943; three sons, Richard Redfield, Frewsburg, NY, James Redfield, Hudson, Mass., John Redfield, Warren; one daughter, Margaret "Pagi" Papalia, Warren; two brothers, Robert Welsh and John Welsh both of Oil City; one sister, Evelyn Blum, Franklin; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Welsh; a sister, Marian Heath; and a grandson, David Redfield.

Friends may call at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., on Thursday December 26, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., where members of the Alter Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 3:30 p.m., and a Vigil service will be held at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 27 at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, with Monsignor John Lucas, pastor, officiating.

Entombment will be in the St. Joseph Mausoleum of the Ressurection.
