Nathan Alexander
Park
September 13, 1995 – March 24, 2018
Nathan Alexander Park, 22, of Warren, died unexpectedly as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Nathan was born on September 13, 1995, in Warren, PA, the son of Julie C. Park, and companion Kent Wilcox, and Christopher J. Park, and wife, Shelley.
Nathan graduated from Warren Area High School in 2014 where he was a 3 year letterman as a Dragon Wrestler, and a member of the Warren Snow Sports Club. He was also a 4 year member of the Warren White trap team and was a member of the team that took 2nd place at the 2014 Pennsylvania AIM state championships in Elysburg, PA. He was also a member of the Conewango Valley Country Club.
Nathan served in the U.S. Army from July 2014 to March 2016. He attended basic training at Fort Jackson in South Carolina, completed his AIT training at Fort Rucker in Alabama and was stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Following his service in the U.S. Army, Nathan attended and graduated from the Mercyhurst Police Academy in June 2017.
Always the entertainer, Nathan loved hanging out with his friends and making them laugh. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and skilled marksman. He enjoyed country music and cowboy boots, and cheering on the Buffalo Sabres and Miami Dolphins.
In addition to his parents, Nathan is survived by two brothers, Dammond Taylor, Warren, and Jacob Park, and wife Angela, Lacey, WA; paternal grandparents, John and Dorothea Park, Warren; maternal grandmother, Gloria Taylor Lichte, and husband Klaus, of Warren; step brother, Dustin Nuhfer; step-sisters, Kelsey Nuhfer, and Jessica Turchyn, and spouse, Andrei; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond J. Taylor; aunts, Jennifer Taylor Aponte and Kathy Taylor; and uncle, Michael Park.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren Wednesday, March 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church on Thursday, March 29, at 11 a.m. with Dr. Rev. Mark E. Hecht, pastor, officiating.
Private burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
