Nancy A. Blum, 79, of 706 Penna. Ave. W., passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the Warren Manor. Mrs. Blum was born January 21, 1936, in Bradford, PA. She is the daughter of the late Harvey and Helen Newton.
Mrs. Blum was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, attending as her health had allowed. She will be most remembered for her love of family. She cherished the time she could spend with them looked forward to family get-togethers, where she would show off her excellent cooking skills.
She is survived by one daughter, Jill McKown of Warren, PA; and one son, Timothy Blum, and wife, Linda, of New London, WI; two sisters: Barb Frank, of Clearfield, PA, and Sandy Clancy, of Bradford, PA; three brothers, Richard Newton, and wife, Annabelle, of Bradford, PA, Rodney Newton, and wife, Elaine, also of Bradford, PA, and Lynn Newton, and wife, Bobbi, of NV; four grandchildren, Gavin Blum, Justin McKown, Mandy Meneo, and husband, Eric, and Daniel Hadley; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on July 6, 2002, by her husband, James W. Blum, whom she married July 28, 1956; one son, Jeffrey Allen Blum; and two sisters, Beth Newton and Jane Coldron.
Services will be private, and at the convenience of the family.
