Obituary

Myron Arden Yaegle, 91, of Zimmerman Road, Clarendon, PA, died on Friday, December 25, 2015, at the Golden Living-Kinzua Valley, Warren.


Myron was born July 10, 1924, at home, the son of the  late Charles M. and Iona (Kiffer) Yaegle.  He served in the U.S. Navy during  World War II on the  Destroyer in the Atlantic, and on the Boxer Air Craft Carrier in the Pacific. He worked for Hammond Iron Works, and later Pittsburgh DesMoines Steel, retiring after 44 years. Myron was the Lead Fitter on the St. Louis Arch Project.


He was preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters, a son, Douglas M. Yaegle, and a granddaughter, Mary E. Eggleston.


He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Bettie" Marker Yaegle,  Clarendon; daughter Judy Honey, Warren, son David (Tina) Yaegle, Clarendon, daughter Janice Yaegle, Pittsburgh; daughter in law Cheryl Yaegle,  Clarendon; four grandsons, three granddaughters, two great grandsons, four  great granddaughters; and his dog, Zoe.


At his request, no calling hours will be observed. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.


The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Paws Along the River, 12 Elm Street, Warren, PA 16365.
