Myrna Ruth Burdick, 90, formerly of Warren, died Friday, April 11, 2014, at Golden Living of Titusville, PA.

Myrna was born February 8, 1924, in Portland Mills, PA, the daughter of the late George W. Lewis and Lucy W. Temple Lewis.  She was a graduate of Leeper High School, and then attended Oil City School of Nursing.  She had also completed some training at the Pittsburgh Children's Hospital.  Myrna worked as a nurse until 1976, and then with the US Forest Service in the Warren Office.  While living in Warren, Myrna attended Calvary Baptist Church, and was a former Akeley Grange Member.  In Titusville, Myrna was a member of the Titusville Methodist Church.  She collected cardinal figurines and loved Drakes Well history.

She is survived by her son, Brian Burdick, and wife, Laurie, Russell, PA; two grandchildren, Sarah Heller, and husband, R.C., of Russell, PA, and Aaron Burdick, and wife, Salysa, of Warren, PA; one great-grandson, Ryan Heller; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Myrna was preceded in death on January 20, 2005, by her husband, E. Sherman Burdick, whom she married on January 29, 1947, in Miami, FL; one son, E. Sherman Burdick, Jr.; and eight siblings, Helen, Harold, George, Clarance, Morris, John and Ivy Lewis, and Annie Sager.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Pennsylvania Avenue, East, Warren, on Monday, April 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held there on Tuesday, April 15, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rick Rohlin, pastor, Praise! Fellowship, officiating.  Burial will follow at the Jerusalem Corner's Cemetery, Pleasantville, PA.
