Murray D."Perk" Cameron, Jr., 78, of 14 1/2 Prospect St., died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Tuesday, November 19, 2002, in Corry.
Mr. Cameron was born September 25, 1924, in Warren, PA, the son of the late Murray D. and Myrle Gross Cameron, Sr. Mr. Cameron served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post #135, BPO Elks Club #223, and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #109.
He is survived by three sons: Murray Douglas Cameron, III, Warren, Theodore Thomas Cameron, St. Petersburg, FL, Shawn Murray Cameron, Warren; two brothers: James Cameron, Lockhaven, PA, Larry Cameron, Covington, VA; five grandchildren; one niece and four nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen Berdine Cameron.
Friends may call at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. , where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23 at 1:30 pm, with Dr. David E. Leininger, pastor First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Warren.
