Mildred H. Newgreen, 101, formerly of 20 Russell Street, Warren, died at 4:50 a.m., Monday, November 18, 2002 at the Rouse Warren County Home, Youngsville.

Mrs. Newgreen was born January 13, 1901, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late James C. and Anine Nielsen Hansen. Mrs. Newgreen was a lifelong resident of Warren, graduating from Warren High School in 1919.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Danish Sisterhood of America.

She was employed by W.H. Alexander Insurance Co. and later by the Speidel Insurance Co.for many years.

She is survived by; one daughter: Mrs. Donald ( Lois ) King of Greenville, Wisconsin

two granchildren, George King, and Amy Taylor; and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Stanley M. Newgreen on April 17, 1999, whom she married in Warren on June 4, 1927, two sisters: Clara Karr and Florence Hansen.

Friends may call at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA on Thursday  November 21, 2002  from 7-9 p.m. , where a funeral service will be held on  Friday November 22, 2002 at 11:00 am with Rev. Marcus Briggs, pastor Rouse Warren Co. Home and Warren General Hospital, officiating.

Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park, Warren.
