Clarendon
Michael “Mike” Harry Manross, 71, of Clarendon, PA, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
He was born on December 27, 1954, in Jamestown, NY, to Harry and Phyllis Manross.
He married his wife, Darcy, on March 12, 1983.
Mike was a graduate of Eisenhower High School, Class of 1973. He worked for Blair Corporation for more than 25 years and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Mike had a big green thumb and loved caring for the many plants in his home and tending to his garden outside. He enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with his family. He loved Mother Nature and spending time outdoors, especially hiking, taking walks through the woods, fishing, and sitting around a fire. He truly enjoyed the peace and beauty of being outdoors.
As his birthday was close to Christmas, Mike had a special love for the holiday. Every year, he put up his Christmas village, which continued to grow as he was gifted more additions. He had a huge interest in science fiction, including aliens and conspiracy theories, and enjoyed collecting dragon figures. He was a loyal Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Braves, and Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
Above all else, Mike loved his family. He cherished the time he spent with them and took great pride in being a grandpa. His grandchildren brought him immense joy, and being surrounded by his family was one of the greatest gifts in his life.
Mike is survived by his wife, Darcy; his mother, Phyllis; his children, Michael (Ella) Manross, Marc (Amber) Manross, Marcy (John) Hauck, Miles (Lissa Consbruck) Manross, and Megan (Ryan Swanson) Manross; his grandchildren, Taylor, Ryley, Brooklyn, Piper, Sandra, Jonathan, Ridge, Austin, Jupiter, Ryker, Atlas, Kerstin, Andrea, Kara, Mathew, Sammie, and Tiki; his great-grandchildren, Elliott, Olyvia, and Madilyn; and his sister, Cheryl (Ray) Bane.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Harry, and his father-in-law, Miles Stitzinger Sr.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna Ave E., Warren, PA 16365. Per Mike’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral costs.
