Melinda L. Smith, 41, of Waldorf, MD, died Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Sibley Memorial Hospital.  Melinda was born February 4, 1976, in Jamestown, NY. She was the daughter of Jerry and Rosanne Wise.

Melinda was a graduate of Warren Area High School. A loving wife and mother, Melinda enjoyed being with her family and pets. She adored spending time with her precious girls, shopping, as well as cooking meals for her family. Melinda had the opportunity to visit more than 20 countries throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Bradley Smith, whom she married in July of 1997; and two daughters, Savannah and Ashley Smith, of Waldorf, MD; two brothers, Damion Wise, and wife, Kayla, and Christopher Wise; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Wednesday, November 22, for one hour prior to a memorial service to be held there at 12 noon, with Rev. Ruth Ann Morley Varatto, pastor, officiating.
