Melinda Lee Namesnik, 58, of Sheffield, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at Hamot Medical Center of Erie, PA.  Melinda was born July 4, 1955, in Kane, PA, the daughter of the late Jon "Jack" Grubbs and Shirley Stupeck, of Warren, PA.

A lifetime resident of Warren County, Melinda graduated from Sheffield High School.  She had been employed for twenty seven years as the Office Manager at Ferrell Gas.  Melinda was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and enjoyed camping, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, Melinda is survived by her long time companion, Kenny Mohney, and his children, Karin, Rob and Kamryn Mohney; one grandchild, Krysten Mauthe, DuBois, PA; three brothers, Conrad Grubbs, and wife, Debra, of Roulette, PA, Jeff Grubbs, and wife, Cindy, and Jamie Grubbs, and wife, Kim, all of Barnes, PA; one aunt, Betty Spicer, of Sheffield, PA; one uncle, Jim Donaldson, of North Carolina; one half sister; two half brothers; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her father, Melinda is preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Namesnik Mauthe; step-father, Robert Stupeck; and her grandparents.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA on Tuesday, February 25, from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesday, February 26, at the Barnes United Methodist Church in Barnes, PA, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Dennis Johnson, pastor, officiating.
