Maxine I. Hulings, 84, formerly of Tiona, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Cambridge of Warren. Maxine was born April 9, 1931, in Oil City, PA. She was the daughter of the late H. Floyd and the Lenore (Everhart) Anderson.
Mrs. Hulings was a 1949 graduate of YoungsvilleHigh School. For thirty two years, she worked at the WarrenGeneralHospital in the accounting department, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the TionaMethodistChurch, where she was a member of the Golden Rulers, and served in various capacities. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Veronis, and husband, Michael, of Moundsville, WV and one son, Maj. Douglas Hulings, USAF, retired, and wife, Beckie, of Centerville, OH; four grandchildren, Beth Veronis, Jill Dille, Brandon Hulings and Ryan Hulings; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on September 19, 1999, by her husband, Harven G. Hulings; grandson, John Veronis; and two siblings, Floyd Anderson and Rhea Bohren.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, March 24, from 4 to 5 p.m., at which time, a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Marty Reynolds, pastor, Tiona United Methodist Church, officiating.
