Matthew Jered Pilapil, 23, of Warren, PA, passed away after a brave battle with health, Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Matthew was born July 6, 2000, in Titusville, PA. He was the cherished and firstborn son of Joylynn Danae, and older brother of Gabriel Jeren. Matthew was a 2019 graduate of Warren Area High School. Matthew professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and his favorite scripture verse was Joshua 1:9. He was employed in the nursing field and also had training as an EMT. Matthew used his love and training when he became a hero in saving his mother's life during an emergency. He enjoyed playing multiple sports throughout his life, including Jr. Varsity and Varsity, was an avid hockey lover, enjoyed nature, music, cars, art, gaming, and spending time with his brother. In addition to his mother, Matthew is survived by his younger brother and best friend, Gabriel Pilapil; son, Olyver Eugene; maternal grandmother, Beverly Alford of Louisiana; maternal cousins, the Johnston family in California; maternal aunt, Ashley Reynolds and maternal uncle, Jeff Reynolds of Titusville; half-brother, Cody Andrusky; aunt, Monica Aldrich; maternal cousins, the Cox family in Texas and an abundance of friends.
