Matthew Peter Glotz, 41, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic. Matt was born May 24, 1983, in Jamestown, NY, the son of Peter J Glotz Jr. and Kathleen D. (Miller) Glotz, who survives. He was a 2001 graduate of Eisenhower High School and studied Elementary Education at Edinboro College. Matt enjoyed driving, canoeing, camping with his buddies, astronomy, was huge into politics, and especially loved his family. He was a part of the TKE Fraternity in Edinboro. In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by two sisters, Sarah Bacchetti and companion, Chris Castano of Warren, and Lisa Haner and husband Brian of Sugar Grove; one brother, Jim Glotz of Sugar Grove; his grandmother, Mary Jane Miller; and five nieces and nephews, Lilliana, Riley, Devyn, Steven, and Taylor; and his canine companion "Chewy." Matt was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
