Obituary

Mason C. Campbell, 27, of Erie, PA, and formerly of Warren, passed away unexpectedly at his parent's home in Warren on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Mason was born January 13, 1994, in Jamestown, NY, to Gary and Tessa (Tudor) Campbell. He is survived by his parents; his partner, Chris Meals; three brothers, Mark (Emily) Campbell of Erie, Bryan (Kristen) Campbell of Bridgeport, NY, and Brandon (Stacey) Campbell of Warren; maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Tudor of Sheffield; and his deeply loved cousins, four nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl Campbell and Mary Jane (Peter) Vujasinovich. When attending Pleasant Elementary, his class would regularly visit the Warren Manor. There he developed a loving kindness toward elderly women. That trait stayed with him into adulthood as he cared for his older neighbors and others. Through his teen years we saw his love for electrical emerge as he upgraded many things. Through high school he had his own business doing landscaping and handyman work. Working with his grandfather, he learned carpentry skills. He graduated 2012 from Warren Area High School. He then completed the electrician program at Erie Institute of Technology and began traveling the country with this trade. He always took time to appreciate the town and the natural wonders of the area he was working in, oftentimes on his mountain bike. When he moved back to Pennsylvania, he started his home improvement business. His hard work, skills and artistic eye for beauty will be appreciated in his projects for years to come. During the covid-19 pandemic he did covid tracing, which he found rewarding as he loved to help people. He loved meeting people and traveling, especially Tennessee, where he hoped to live one day. He will be sadly missed by family and innumerable friends. His passion for enjoying life had some hidden emotional pain that was softened when he was with family, friends, and future friends. That was his happy place. His personal wish for everyone is that they have a safe place to communicate and share. His friends have started a campaign in his memory.
