Mary Ann Thomas, 79, of Stoneham, PA, entered into heaven on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Mary was born April 30, 1936, in Bloosburg, PA, the daughter of the late William and Mabel Grant. Mary is survived by her husband of 61 years, Berdean E. Thomas; three children, Debbie Bauer, of Stoneham, Darlene Meadows (Bill), of Cherry Grove, and Randy Thomas (Carol), of Sheffield; four grandchildren, Tracy Bailey (Ron), of Clarendon, Hollie Constable (Marc Lytle), of Warren, Chad Gage (Erin) of Anchorage, AK, and Stephanie Sutton (Clint), of Virginia Beach, VA; five great-grandchildren, Austin Constable, Chase Sutton, Alix Lytle, Wyatt Gage and Taylor Bailey; two siblings, Ruth Carpinello, of Erie, and Paul Grant (JoAnn), of Berea, OH; sister-in-law, Donna Grant, of Erie; brother-in-law, Jerry Thomas (Donna), of Stoneham. Also among those who will miss her dearly is her unofficial adopted son, Gary Johnson (Lisa), of Stoneham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Ronald Grant and Jean Smith;two brothers-in-law, Lou Carpinello and Tom Smith; grandson, Andy Gage; great-granddaughter, Savannah Sutton; and son-in-law, Ed Wingard. Although she suffered many ailments, those who knew her were amazed by her courage and strength. She touched many lives and her memory will continue to do so. Mary was a member of Stoneham United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Friday, May 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held there on Saturday, May 30, at 11 a.m. Rev. Jan Reynolds, and Rev. Marty Reynolds, co-officiating. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Avenue, Warren, PA 16365 or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 2816 Elmwood Ave, Erie, PA 16508.
