Mary L. Sheets, 80, of Warren, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Warren Manor. Mary was born January 8, 1945, in Warren, the daughter of the late Dennis O. Callahan and Wilfield "Gaynell" Strane Callahan. She was a 1962 graduate of Warren High School. Some of Mary's work history included in the Mailing Department at Blair, a CNA with Kinzua Valley Health Care, the Warren Public Library and she worked at Irvine Museum as a curator, Loranger Manufacturing from which she retired, and United Refinery, where she was a custodian. Mary was a member of the Allegheny Outdoor Club and an avid enthusiast with the Audubon Society, Jamestown. Mary is survived by her two children, Marilyn Sheets and fiancé Donald Valerius of Warren and Chester Sheets and wife Margaret of Warren, and; five grandchildren, Ross M. Peterson, Mitchal A. Peterson, Autumn M. Ristau, Jerrica Hartson and Dale E. Sheets; eight great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law's, Diane and Violet Callahan; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert "Bob" Callahan, Richard "Dick" Callahan, and Knute Callahan; and one sister-in-law, Nancy Callahan.
