Mary R. Probst, 91, of Clarendon, Pa., passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2021, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House, following a brief illness. Mary was born February 25, 1930, in Warren, Pa., the daughter of the late Robert R. and Geraldine Arird Radspinner. She was a 1948 graduate of Warren High School and then worked at New Process Company and was a bookkeeper for her late husband's logging and lumber business. She also worked as a tax collector for Mead Township. She was a faithful member of the Clarendon United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and was active in many other activities. She enjoyed babysitting, baking, working in the garden, playing the piano, and working on jigsaw puzzles. She will long be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Borst and husband James of Cherry Grove, Pa., Dixie Watson and husband Fred of Warren, Pa, and Amy Ei and husband John of Warren, Pa; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Wagner Battisti (Jarret), Jeremy Borst, Jason Borst, (Katherine), Dustin Probst, Hannah Probst, Christopher Ei, and Caleb Ei; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on October 12, 2020 by her husband Richard G. Probst, whom she married on March 14, 1953; a son, Gustave Probst on April 3, 2018; and a sister, Jeanne Russo on March 7, 1988. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, Pa, on Friday, March 12, from 11 am until 12 noon, at which time a funeral service will be held, with Rev. Marty Reynolds, pastor, Clarendon Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Clarendon United Methodist Church, 23 North Main St, Clarendon, Pa 16313 or the Clarendon Fire Department, 17 North Main Street, Clarendon, Pa 16313. CDC guidelines will be strictly adhered to. Mask and social distancing required.
