Mary Lou Falconer, one month shy of turning 91 years old, of Lander, PA, passed away on May 16, 2022, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. Mary Lou was born on June 16, 1931, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Millard S. Hill and Lida M. Gander Hill. Mary Lou was a 1949 graduate of Sugar Grove -Farmington High School. She received her Secretary Certification from Warren Business School. She was a secretary at Lander Grade School for twelve years. She drove the school bus for Decker Transportation for over 20 years. Mary Lou attended the Lander United Methodist church for a number of years. She was a past member of the Lander Volunteer Firefighter Auxiliary for many years. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and working on puzzles. Mary Lou is survived by her children Jerry Falconer and wife Linda of Warren, PA, Michael Falconer and wife LeeAnn of Fallon, Nevada, and Luanne VanOrd and husband Allen of Russell, PA; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband Gerald R. Falconer, whom she married on June 28, 1952, in Lander; and brother Harlan Hill of Lander.
