Mary A. Farr, 104, of the Rouse Home in Youngsville, formerly of Canterbury Ct. in Warren, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 24, 2013..

Mary was born September 17, 1908 in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada, and the lived most of her life in Warren. She was employed at the former Anderson's Bakery in Warren for thirty four years, and at Kresge's in Warren for fourteen years, retiring in 1979. Mary has been an active member in the Warren Wesleyan Church since 1933.

Mary enjoyed baking, crocheting, and was well known for her talent making Ukranian Easter eggs. Mary especially loved her family and will be missed by all.

She is survived by two sons, David Farr and his wife Loretta, Youngsville, PA, and William Farr and his wife Jo Ann, Falconer, NY; one sister, Kathrin Wilcox, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death in 1959 by her husband, Jacob Farr; three brothers, John, Frank, and Matthew; two sisters, Julia and Helen; and a grandson, David Farr.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA,  and on Wednesday, August 28, at the Warren Wesleyan Church, 602 Fourth Ave., Warren, PA for one hour prior to the  funeral service to be held there at 11:00 am, with Rev. Carle D. Moore, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Warren.
