Martha Louise Weston, 64, of Akeley Road, Russell, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Warren General Hospital following a brief illness.

Martha was born May 27, 1947, in Jamestown, NY the daughter of Lucille F. Leathers and the late Thomas Leathers. After high school, Martha attended Kent State University, where she obtained her Associate's Degree as a Lab Technician. She then worked at Warren General Hospital until she pursued her Nursing Degree from Jamestown Community College.  She worked as a nurse at both the Warren General Hospital and Warren State Hospital, and eventually worked for a traveling nursing service; working in over seven states.  She was a member of Cable Hollow Community Church, and a past member of the Pine Grove Beautification Committee.  Martha enjoyed crocheting, her family, traveling, and the beach.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Lee Weston, Bemus Point, NY and Philip Weston and his wife, Sandy, Greenville, SC; three siblings, brother, Thomas Leathers and his wife,  Donna, Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Suzanne DeFabio and her husband, Anthony, Warren, PA, and brother, Robert Leathers, Russell, PA; five grandchildren, Grant, Cade, Ava, Halle and Parker ; and six nieces and nephews, Shari DeFabio, Doreen Duska, Daniel, Samantha, Kimberly and Steven Leathers.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas A. Leathers.

Friends will be received at the Cable Hollow Church, 3157 Cable Hollow Rd, Russell, on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, for one hour prior to a memorial service to be held there at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Allan Jones, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
