Martha Pearl Furlow Sampson, 76, of Warren, PA, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie, PA. Martha was born October 26, 1947, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Ernest and June (Carlson) Furlow. She graduated from Eisenhower High School and was employed in the customer service department for Blair from which she retired after 27 years. Martha was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club. She loved to crochet, cook, spend time with family, do crafts, cardmaking, and scrapbooking. She enjoyed watching the Steelers, Pirates, and Nascar. Martha is survived by her son, Nicholas Johnson and wife Carla of Warren; stepson Scott Sampson of Warren; grandchildren, Seth Johnson and wife Leah, Amanda Johnson and husband Bryan, Valerie Glotz, and Matthew Sampson; great grandchild, Emery Johnson; sisters, Barb Brooks and husband Larry of Sugar Grove, PA, Mary Rollinger of Lakewood, NY, and Ann Abadie and husband Jim of Sugar Grove, PA; several nieces and nephews; and two feline friends, Maury and Ricky. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sampson, whom she married on June 28, 1975; brothers, Stanley Furlow, Raymond Wells, and Bruce Wells; sister, Sandy Lohnes; and daughter-in-law, Sherry Sampson.
