Marjorie Mae Larson, 96, of Warren, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA. She was born on March 12, 1926, in Ripley, NY, the daughter of the late LaVern and Eva Marie (Hawkins) Emerson. She graduated from high school and then attended and received her certificate at Bible College. Marjorie was a nurse's aide at many facilities as well as a private home nurse. She also worked at Keystone Nursing Home, was a janitor at Eisenhower High School, and worked at DHS Daycare. She attended Praise Fellowship for several years. Marjorie enjoyed birdwatching, sewing, baking cookies, but especially loved her grandchildren. Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Eva Alexander and husband Terry of Delevan, NY, and Debra Blum of Warren, PA; twenty grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death on October 1, 2003, to her best friend, confidant, and love of her life, her husband, Eric G. Larson, whom she married in 1982; children, Lavern and Clarence Couse, Delora Colucci, and Marietta Taylor; stepsons, Larry and Leroy Larson; siblings, Lennie "Murn", Frank, Floyd, Francis, Lester, Fred, and Charlie Emerson. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E. Warren, PA, on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at which time a funeral service will be held with Reverend Rick Rohlin, pastor, officiating.
