Marjorie Kifer Harp, "Peg" 96, of Warren, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at Warren Manor. Peg was born October 23, 1923, in Warren, PA, and was raised by her mother and stepfather, William and Geraldine Weaver. She was a 1942 graduate of Warren High School and worked as a waitress in several Warren and Harrisburg restaurants. She was also the office manager for their business, Harp's Electronics, in Harrisburg. After retirement, they returned to Warren, where she was able to help care for her daughter, Judi. When she was able, she loved to read and do jigsaw puzzles. Her hobby was collecting frogs, and she had many. Peg is survived by her daughter, Jill (Ted) Dorrion, Tiona; her son, Jack Kifer, Harrisburg and her daughter-in-law, Cindi Kifer, Connellsville; her grandchildren, Bill (Carissa) Dorrion, Jamestown, Gary Dorrion, Henderson, NV, Scott (Jennifer) Lynds, Warren, Brandi (Alan) Buchanan, Tiona, and Matthew (Laura) Kifer, Uniontown, PA; two stepsons, Ralph Harp and family, Harrisburg; and David Harp and family, Texas; great grandchildren, Anissa (Jordan) Dorrion Keaton, Morgan (Matthew) Dorrion Benson, Rachel, Mark and Jack Lynds; her great great grandchild, Baby Benson due in April; and her step great grandchildren, Trevor Buchanan and Amber Packard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Dick Lynds; her son, Jeff Kifer; a granddaughter, Bethany Kifer; her brothers, Forest and Leroy Weaver; her first husband and father of her children, Jack Kifer; and her second husband, Ralph Harp. The family would like to express their appreciation to Warren Manor for the care given to our mother and grandmother over the 5 years when she was a resident. There will be no visitation or funeral. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family has requested memorial donations be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
