Marion Elizabeth Stewart, 92, of 701 Rouse Ave., Youngsville, died at Rouse Warren County Home, Youngsville, PA, on Friday, December 6, 2002.
Mrs. Stewart was born March 24, 1910, in Tiona, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Kehrli Tuttle. Mrs. Stewart was currently the oldest and longest member of the Epworth United Methodist Church since March 2, 1924, and was active with the Bethel Flemming Circle, the G.R. class, Sunday School teacher, played piano for the Junior Choir and Sunday School classes, and also served as a communion steward for many years. She was a Warren General Hosptial Volunteer as a Grey Lady and worked in the snack bar. She was a 1928 graduate of Warren High School.
She is survived by one daughter: Mrs. Wyllis (Carol) Mead of Warren, PA;
five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband,William H. Stewart on September 29, 1997, whom she married on September 17, 1929 in Warren; a sister Florence Gettings, an infant brother, Carl Tuttle, an infant sister, Ethel Tuttle, and a nephew James Gettings, Jr.
Friends may call at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there on Monday, December 9 at 11:00 am. with Rev. Nancy Shute, pastor Epworth Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Warren.
