Marion E. Burford, 90, of Warren, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Cambridge Warren. Marion was born on November 12, 1928 to the late Carl and Neva (Lininger) Werner. She worked as a teacher's aide at Eisenhower High School and in various grocery stores throughout Warren, PA and Jamestown, NY. Marion also worked at Blair Corporation and was a member of the Cable Hollow Church. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Tom) Thompson and Barbara (Tim) Engstrom; her grandchildren, Jason Engstrom and Kellie (Adam) Boettcher; her great granddaughter, Aria Charlotte Boettcher; her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Burford, whom she married on November 13, 1948; her sisters, Louise Stanton, Joyce Pearson and Nancy Hall; her brothers, Lawrence Werner and Roger Werner. Friends will be received from 10-11 AM, on Monday December 17, 2018 at the Cable Hollow Church, 3157 Cable Hollow Rd, Russell, PA 16345. A funeral service to follow with Rev. Allan Jones, pastor, officiating.
