Marilyn J. Nyberg, 82, of Pleasant Township, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Warren General Hospital.  Marilyn was born April 14, 1934, in Warren, PA. She is the daughter of the late Samuel J and Josephine (Falber) Pasquino.

Marilyn was a graduate of Warren High School.  At age 16, Marilyn married her high school sweetheart, Evert C. Nyberg, the day before he left for the Army, whom she wouldn't see again for another four years.  She was a woman of few, but many kind words.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time at Red Oaks Campground for over 40 years, where she made many friends.  Family meant everything to Marilyn—she was a loving wife and mother, and she loved her dogs, Jesse, Sadie and Sophie.

She was a bookkeeper for her husband's company, Nyberg Excavating.  She was previously employed by the Warren State Hospital, Carver Hotel Office and Warren National Bank (PNC).  She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by three sons, Terry C. Nyberg, Warren, David J. Nyberg, Warren, and Randy J. Nyberg, Clearwater, FL; sister, Elizabeth A. Deck, of Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on October 15, 2013, by her husband, Evert C. Nyberg.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Wednesday, January 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. A Vigil Service will be held there at 7:45 p.m.  A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, January 12, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 600 Penn. Ave., W., Warren, with Fr. Richard J. Toohey, officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Warren.
