Marilyn A. Anderson, 81, of Cherry Grove, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Saint. Vincent Hospital. Marilyn was born on August 14, 1937 to the late Perry and Lileth (Anderson) Howard, in Mayburg, PA. Marilyn is a 1955 graduate of Sheffield High School and was a member of the Hessel Valley Lutheran Church. She worked at J.C. Penny, New Process, and retired from PNC Bank after twenty years. Marilyn enjoyed cooking, baking and shopping. She loved preparing holiday meals and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Charles R. Anderson, whom she married on October 19, 1957; her children Dan (Lori) Anderson, of Cherry Grove and Brenda (Pat) Davidson, of Cherry Grove; her sister, Madolyn Wester, of Warren; her grandchildren, Zachary and Jeremiah Anderson, Luke Davidson and Gabrielle Anderson; her great granddaughter, Danielle Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffrey Scott Anderson, who passed in 1961. The family has requested no public services and a private burial.
