Marie F. Kibbey, 71, of Sheffield passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Warren General Hospital.  Marie was born September 21, 1943, in Jamestown, NY. She is the daughter of the late Arthur and Jenna Belle (Knapp) VanOrd.

Marie was a 1961 graduate of Eisenhower High School.  For a few years, she had worked as a High School Gym teacher's aide.  She had later worked at Loranger International, retiring as supervisor.  Growing up, she had attended Lander United Methodist Church.  Marie had dedicated much of her time to the Sheffield Rod & Gun Club.  Along with her friends and life partner, Randy Wolfe, she helped start the Youth Trap League for Warren County.  She was also very active in the 4-H, and had served as a leader for many years.  She loved spending her time outdoors, camping and horse back riding.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard M. Kibbey; one daughter, Fawn Kuzminski, and husband, James, of Warren, PA; and one son, Scott Kibbey, of Russell, PA;  two sisters, Merna Valone, of Russell, PA and Carolyn Hamilton of SC; and two brothers, Robert Cowles, of Meadville, PA and Allen VanOrd, of Russell, PA.  She also has six grandchildren, Thomas Kibbey, Scottlyn Kibbey Atkins, Raya Kibbey, Britton Kibbey, Casi Kuzminski and Becky Kuzminski; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, Randy Wolfe; and brother, James Cowles.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Sheffield Rod & Gun Club, 1964 Austin Hill Road, Sheffield, on Sunday, March 1, from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
