Marian Irene Darling, 86, of Kidder Street, Warren, Pa., passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Warren Manor.

Marian was born August 14, 1925, in Mayburg, Pa., the daughter of the late Roland and Wilda Deshner Wilson. Marian was a graduate of Youngsville High School.  She worked as a secretary for Penelec and the National Forge for many years from which she retired.  Marian was a former member of the Epworth United Methodist Church and was currently attending First United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed traveling and always loved to help others.  Marian truly enjoyed time with her family and her organizational skills led her to coordinate many family reunions with her sister, Gert. She also coordinated many reunions for her husband's Navy Ship-mates over the years.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Darling, Warren, Pa., whom she married on June 17, 1943 in Mayburg, Pa.; two sons, Dennis Darling and his wife, Lila, Hummelstown, Pa., and Reg Darling and his wife, Teresa, Warren, Pa.; three grandchildren,  David Darling, Hummelstown, Pa. and Oren Darling, West Lafayette, IN, and Holly Coffaro and her husband, Ben, Sugar Grove, Pa.; a brother, Richard Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Gertrude (Wilson) Miner, Bill Wilson and Jack Wilson.

Friends will be received at the First United Methodist Church, 200 Market St., Warren, on Wednesday, May 23, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there at 2 p.m., with Dr. Jeffrey D. Sterling, pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
