Marian S. Burlingame, 97, of N. Main Street, Russell, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at W. C. A. Hospital of Jamestown, NY.

Marian was born September 21, 1916, in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Clifford and Susan Spink Davis.
She was employed as a secretary at Russell Elementary School from 1956 to 1972; and formerly had worked as a legal secretary in Cattaraugus, NY.  She was a very active member of Russell United Methodist Church, where she was involved in the Bible study group, and was active in the former Thursday Evening Circle.  She truly loved her church.  She was also a member of the True Friends Club of Russell, PA.  Marian enjoyed her family, especially loved children and her grandchildren.  She always had a smile and a prayer for everyone.

She is survived by two sons, Richard D. Burlingame, and wife, Jane, of Russell, PA and Robert A. Burlingame, and wife, Regina, of Cassadaga, NY; four grandchildren, Trevor, and wife Beth, and their son, Matthew; Matthew, and wife Julie, and their children, Emma, Elijah and Isaiah; Ryan, and wife, Bethany, and their daughters, Anna and Olivia; and Eric, and his wife, Dyan.  Marian is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Burlingame on May 11, 2001, and whom she married on January 17, 1942.

Friends will be received on Sunday, December 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA, and on Monday, December 9 for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. at Russell United Methodist Church, 17 N Main St, Russell, PA, with Rev. Dave Heckman, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
