Margaret J. "Cutsie" Sorensen, 84, of Warren, PA., passed away at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House on May 18, 2021. Margaret was born in Warren, PA., to the late Joseph and Erna Sedon Hennessy. She was a 1954 graduate of the Warren High School. She was employed at the United Refinery, Levinson Brothers, and the Warren County School District from which she retired. Margaret and her husband enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. in their motorhome. She wintered in Florida from 1970's till 2015. She enjoyed her flower garden and a good cup of coffee. She especially enjoyed her family. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Margaret is survived by her children; Donald (Tami) Sorensen, of Warren, Kathryn (Robert) Owen, of Scandia;. Seven grandchildren; Karly, David and Darren Sorensen. Katie, Chris and Lisa Owen, and Alyssa Stenstrom; ten great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death on May 8, 2017,by her husband Leroy H. Sorensen,whom she married on July 23, 1954 at the First Church of the Nazarene; a son, Richard Sorensen: Her siblings, William Hennessy, John Hennessy, Florence Sharp, Helen Johnson, Mary Glans,and Lois Albaugh. The family will receive friends on Friday May 21, 2021, from 10am until 12 noon at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Penna Ave E. Warren, PA. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev J. Maier, pastor, First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
