Lynn Jones, of Russell, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 94, surrounded by his loving family.

Lynn remembered for his kindness, steady presence, and the love he shared with those closest to him. He had a way of making others feel welcome and valued, and his life left a lasting impression on family, friends, neighbors, and all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Lynn found joy in time spent with family and friends, simple moments at home, and the community he called home in Russell. His memory will live on through the stories shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his beloved family, including his sister, Elaine Roberts; his brother, Gene Jones; and his five children, Veryl Williams (Edward Williams), Kendra Quiggle, Tammy Belin (George Belin), Janie Johnson (Kevin Johnson), and Jamie Jones (Kelly)

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverley (Hamblin) Jones; and his siblings, LaVerne Jones, Gladys Swanson, Warren Jones, Lyston Jones (his twin brother), and Laura Dilker.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Pennsylvania Ave E. Warren, PA 16365. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 1 o’clock, with visitation prior from 11AM-1PM.
